Dublin and Monaghan are set to face each other in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final at Croke Park on Saturday, July 15, 2023.  The throw-in for the game is set for 5:30.

This is the Dublin team for Saturday, an unchanged XV from the side that started in the All-Ireland Quarter Final win over Mayo.

Eoin Murchan is named to start at corner back for Dessie Farrell’s side despite going off with what appeared to be a hamstring injury during the quarter-final clash with Mayo.

At the time of writing this, there are still tickets available for the Hill 16 from Ticketmaster.

In Previous Meetings in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final of 2017, Dublin emerged victorious, defeating Monaghan with a scoreline of 1-19 to 0-12. Monaghan beat Dublin in the League which resulted in Dublin’s relegation to Division Two but the Dubs gained promotion back to the top tier for 2024.

Monaghan needed extra-time and penalties to see off neighbours Armagh in the quarter-final. Now, they bid to reach their first All-Ireland SFC final since 1930 when they clash with Dublin.

The match will be televised on RTÉ 2 and BBC 2 NI, and it will also be streamed on the BBC iPlayer. Monaghan faces a tough challenge against Dublin but will approach the match with confidence and focus on playing to the best of their abilities.
